Jeremy Bartel, LPC

I received my education at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology through a joint program with The Santa Barbara & Ventura Colleges of Law. Through that program, I earned both my master’s degree in forensic psychology and master’s degree in legal studies. My specialized education spans across a wide range of issues including psychology, public policy, and the legal system. I have been intensively trained to work with individuals who have been involved in the justice system, as well as victims and their families.

My approach to therapy is person-centered and trauma-focused, free from judgment or therapeutic jargon. I specialize in exploring the complex internal world that governs unconscious impulses and maladaptive coping skills that often lead to conflict. I help individuals better understand their own motivations. Through building this self-awareness, we can take control of our own mental health.
