Sarah Gunderson, LCPC, EMDR-C

I earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Concordia University Chicago. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and am certified in EMDR. I work with all ages; young children through aging seniors and welcome clients of all backgrounds and lifestyles. My approach is collaborative and goal-driven, seeking to empower clients to create opportunities and choice in their lives. I incorporate cognitive-based techniques, mindfulness and wellness, alongside trauma-informed care to facilitate change and help clients overcome obstacles and crises.

I am passionate about personal growth; coaching clients through life transitions including end of life. I specialize in Personality Disorders, and work with individuals, couples and families on Relationship Issues, Parenting, School Issues, ADHD and Executive Functioning, Anxiety, Depression, Grief, PTSD, Bi-Polar Disorder, OCD, Phobias, Eating Disorders, Identity Issues, Alcohol and Substance Abuse and Self-Harm Behaviors.
